900rr subframe. will 95 fit 98?

im trying to start a tail mod and planning to just buy an extra subframe, can anyone tell me if the 93-95 subframe has the same dimensions as the 98-99? thanks in advance.

Im not sure as i dont own one, but some how you will have to measure it - can you actually see them in person?

nope, i have the 98 bike with a subframe on it and im looking to buy a second subframe for the project, trying to figure out if i can just buy an older model frame(im going to cut and mod anyway) and use it. Just dont want to get saddled with a subframe that wont fit.

I would have thought that the later subframes would have been better e.g. lighter etc.

Someone on here had just replaced their 929 subframe with a 954 subframe, the 954 is slightly lighter and is shorter i believe.
