900rr needs some help.. .

ok need some help on my cbr900rr.. . here is what happened.. .
1. was stopped at a light started to go bike bogged down and died.
2. it would not start due to the battery being dead.
3. charged the battery.
4. went for about a four block ride before bike did some extreme bogging and died.
5. got home battery was fine
6. started fine but when i put it in to gear it died

bike had a brand new battery before this happened.. . not sure what kind of a problem i am looking at.. .possibly a charging system issue.. .iono.. . any help would be greatly appriciated.. . thanks

Don't know if this is the cause, but since you mentioned charging issues I'd say check the Regulater/Rectifier. Notorious on 90's Hondas. It should be on the right side of the bike just under the seat (take tail plastic off). At least it was on my old '96.

I did check it and the plug was very nasty so i cleaned it up and i have been riding it with no problems.. . thanks for the help

i have a 94 cbr 900 rr and when its hot outside it feels like its running out of gas but have a full tank can someone help me on this im new
