fireblade '08 and driver weight

Hello!

My Q is for those of you which have new model and about 180-185 cm and cca 100 kg.

I wasn't ride new model (I sat on it) and I would change for my 954 2003.
In my country, test team of new blade said that the Blade is stinting and have gruelling siting position.

Is this true?

Thanks!

Re: fireblade '08 and driver weight

Not sure what you mean by "stinting".

I am 6'2 ( 182 cm ) and I find the Blade pretty comfy for an out and out litre sports bike.

Not sure how weight comes in to it. I am currently 78 kilos after a massive health kick

Re: fireblade '08 and driver weight

I'm 6' 3" and find the riding position even more comfortable than the 06 Blade. The position is a little more upright with plenty of room to tuck in also.

Re: fireblade '08 and driver weight

Yes, I nonice different riding position when ride 06' model - more wider leg position around frame, more peaked handlebar and higher footrests compare to my 954.
When I sat on 08', I feel closer to 954 than cbr 06'.

i sat on the08 and found that it would be rough on me.I would be through if i had to ride that bike all day.i was happy bout it though. I love the bike so much that if it was comfy I might have bought the thing right then.
