How to improve Fireblade '08 exhaust sound

... without changing it's appearance? Any known cuts/mods etc.?

It`s a 2 minute job to remove flapper cable, you will see a black plastic panel under the seat tray, 3 screws hold it on - remove panel - turn wheel 1 quarter and take out cable - you can leave it in the compartment - you should now see that the flapper in the exhaust is open - it is just as easy to put back - I did mine roadside when a mate told me about it! Give it a go

Some people have found a "reduction" in performance, but only from the seat of the pants dyno I believe.

Hi HK, Not noticed any downsides, possibly a bit heavier on juice but nominal. Just remember to re-connect for servicing etc! you dont want ot jeopardise the warranty.
