Hope you are wrong about the full yoshi system harming the bike without a power comm 3 , as i am having mine installed wed afternoon in carbon without a power comm
mate, i am unfortunately not wrong.
If you are going with the stock configuration of your bike you will have following results with the full race system:
1) No, or hardly recognizable power increase, you will even experience less power as the ignition timing is wrong.
2) the backpressure changes with the full system (stainless steel pipes are bigger than the stock) which actually harms the bike.
YOU definitely need a PCIII
with the correct map uploaded (Yoshimura Full Race System) in order to optimize the configuration of the bike. I suggest you get one ASAP. If you only install the slip on, it doesnt matter at all, if you install the full system it is a basic requirement.
I am just not sure whether the PCIII
itself with the Race System Conf is sufficient or if you as well should install an ignition module.
I am not a specialist at all unfortunately, therefore I have posted this thread.
Maybe my explanation is crap, but I definitely know that you have to have a PCIII
once you go with the Full System....
I can send you a private message where u shud get the PCIII
from, if required, they are discounted right now and those guys upload the correct map for you as well. Think I am not allowed to advertise any company on this public thread.. operator, can you advise?
