New 929 ower says hello

Hi all,

After many weeks of searching I finally managed to get my hands on an unmolested 929 in Red/White/Blue. I've only had about 40 mins on it so far but I love it and am impressed with how easy it felt to ride straight from the off. Ever since I lusted after the NSR125 in about 1990, I've wanted a Blade in RWB, so I'm very happy.
I wondered if I could pick the collective brains on the list?
Anyone have any thoughts on the merits of adding a PowerCommander to a standard bike? I'm not really interested in getting any extra power or changing the can, but wondered if it might do anything to improve the standard fuel injection? Not that I thought it needed changing, the bike seemed a little juddery at lower revs, but I can manage that with the clutch and by keeping the bike in a low gear. I have also heard about slight flat spot in the rev range. I did search the list for PCIII comments but couldn't find anything about it on a standard bike.
Also, is there in particular I should be checking on the bike; anything that causes problems/potential flaws on these bikes? I suspect there's bound to be something on a 7 year old bike.
I pick it up from the dealer tomorrow - can't wait!

Cheers,

Daniel.

Re: New 929 ower says hello

and welcome to the site!

I think the PC would get rid of the flat spot and make it more of a curve (power) but u'll have to ask a 929 rider.

Ps, where bouts in London are you?

Keep it on two wheels
