I`m about to buy a akrapovic full system and a PC and KN-air filter for my 954 2002! Is it worth the money?? How much difference is there with these parts on the bike??

If you get it mapped, sounds like a plan.

I would pass on the K&N filter and look at the BMC.

if the yoshi gets rid of the exhaust valve yeah...honda already did r&d on the header so how much better can you get...

full system is nice but i dont think worth the retail price. if you can find a good used full system, definitely worth it then. personally i dont think its wise to buy a half system for the money they cost. if your going to spend the money, get a complete setup where all the parts are designed to work as a whole. your bike will run smoother and stronger throughout the rev range rather than running factory and aftermarket parts together.

i have the full micron setup which runs like a champ, the akra is a quality setup as well, although some might say it doesn't make the most power for a honda

my 3 cents

I went up 14 hp at the rear wheel with that exact same setup. Plus I had smoother response at low rpms. I can feel and hear the difference. Could I ride the 954 to it's limit before? Nope! Is it full to personalize your ride? Yep. We are still down 20hp at the wheel to newer liter bikes. Only you can decide.
