Re: Battery Replacement YTX9 BS

As long as it physically fits in the bike and the connectors still reach okay I can't see any problem with it.
The bike is mostly powered by the charging system once it's running. You just need to have enough capacity to run the pump and injectors and any lights. If you've added lights or anything else electrical (alarm maybe?) then you might have trouble.

Re: Battery Replacement YTX9 BS

If your charging system is good then it shouldn't matter.
It possibly also has a little less CCP (cold cranking power) but that shouldn't be a problem on a stock engine.
Is there a particular reason you want to run the smaller battery?
