Oil capacity on an 07 Blade

The manual for the 07 Blade indicates 3100cc of oil when the filter is replaced.
I am using a K&N oil filter and when I pour in 3100cc of oil, the level is barely above the minimum line in the site glass. 3200cc puts the level in the center of the site glass. Does the K&N filter hold more oil compared to the Honda filter to cause this?

Re: Oil capacity on an 07 Blade

The figures in the manual are nominal and dependant on how much oil you managed to get out when you drained it.
What matters is the level rather than the amount.

The manual for 08 Blade indicates approximately 3.0l, but last oil change (with filter) I needed to pour 3,2l of oil to max level on the dipstick. So I think, that your situation is normal and you just should fill the oil to the correct level.
