clutch

Hey all, new to here and my 02/954. My clutch ingages at the absolute very end of the lever throw. The cable is nearly adjusted all the way out at both top and bottom points, is this normal for this bike. I have 23k on her, how long do cables go before being too stretched. Not sure how long clutches last under normal riding either? Thanks

Re: clutch

Does the lower lever move the same amount as you move the clutch lever?
If not, then the cable is stretching and needs replacing.
