new to the forum

Hey I just picked my 2001 honda cbr 929rr up tonight. I'm very excited! There was a sticker on the front of the windscreen so as a do it "yourselfer" I decided to pull the sticker off and goo gone the sticky crap left...bad news i think the plastic is shot now. It was dark and I was excited about my new bike...should i just paint the screen now or is there a way to reverse that smear. This is the first time ive run into this. Thanks!

Are there any good riding clubs in the east bay? I've been riding a while but i haven't looked into it yet.

Re: new to the forum

is it the smear of just the sticky stuff...or did the goo gone ruin the screen?

painting the screen is an option if you want, but you can also just get an aftermarket that look better and work a lot better than the stocks

Re: new to the forum

Re: new to the forum

just fyi, you don't need to be able to see through your windscreen. you can't see through many aftermarket screens, even when i'm leaned down fully on the tank I still look right over the screen.
