Leaking coolant from hose.

sup everyone,

I have a problem with my radiator hose.it seems to keep seeping from the top of the hose.So a friend of mind loosened it up and pushed it up to see if it will solve the problem? So i started it up the next day and saw that their was a little of the coolant sitting on on top of the hose again.I added a different clamp and started it again, next thing you know that it still seeping again.!! Know i'm going to try and cut it a little bit about a half and inch and clamp it again and see if i get the same results? What do you guys think,Should i get another hose or just cut it a little bit?If you know any places where i can get this part for cheap please leave me sites and vendors thank you...

Re: Leaking coolant from hose.

If trimming the hose and reclamping does not fix the problem, check for pin-hole leaks in the radiator where the hose is mounted. Not sure how old your bike is, but aluminum radiators corrode and could spring a small leak.

Re: Leaking coolant from hose.

Get a new hose and clamp. Clean off the connection points really well. Dunno where you'll get it other than a local dealer or parts joint.
