Power commander

I'm newbie so take it easy on me. With that said I bought a 2007 CBR1000RR 1,200miles. I put on a slip on exhaust which sounds great. I also bought a power commander III. What is a good location to install. The only place looks like it might fit is under the rear seat.

The other problem is once the power command is installed what or how should it be set up ? The slip on is a cheaper aftermarket that I bought off ebay. The brand is BUB. Any suggestions would be appriated. Will post pics soon.

Re: Power commander

Get a custom map and it goes under the seat; there is not much room on the bike to begin with.

What did it say in the instructions you downloaded from the powercommander website?

Re: Power commander

Try a few different premade maps for your bike, available from the dynojet website. Install under the seat, easy to do.

Let me know if this map runs good. If there are any runability issues it can be further adjusted.
