oil change 08 blade advice please

ok just about to come up to 4000 miles and i've decided i'm gonna do my own oil change.
now from what i hear this bike is a nightmare to work on so i need a quick idiots proof guide to getting to the oil filter and plug.
i did read somewhere ages ago that you can do an oil change just from taking the belly pan off dunno if thats right though
thanks all in advance

Re: oil change 08 blade advice please

I watched the tech do mine for it's first service.

You are quite right mate, he showed me how the easiest way to do an oil change, is by removing just the belly pan of the bike. He didn't actually totally remove it either , just took the screws out and eased his hand in.

He did say it is a f****r to do if you don't know how

if you aint sure leave it the someone who does.

The bike is still under warranty and as far as i know you should have the first oil / filter change done free of charge from where you bought it.....?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Personally I love the looks of the 08/09, hence why I bought one
