99 RRX Brakes

Hi.. Could anyone tell me if the calipers of a zx7 will fit my 99 blade. Would like to upgrade to 6 pot with the least expense.. Had anyone got any advice or suggestions.. Cheers.

Re: 99 RRX Brakes

I'd don't know for sure, but I would say chances are slim to none. You could get a bracket made to adapt the zx7 brakes to your bike, but unless you know someone, that wouldn't be cheap. You would also need the zx7 brake lever and cylinder, because I doubt your lever would be able to push the extra pistons.
I would start with measuring the zx7 caliper, you never know it just might fit.

Certainly you could make them fit almost anything but you'd have to fabricate at least one of the mounts.
Six-piston calipers aren't an "upgrade" though.
