Re: RR7 BLADE EXHAUST COMPATIBILITY

hi John,
ive just recently put a yoshi slip on onto my 05 1000rr, it came with the option of using one of two hangers supplied. one of them made the can lower than the other when mounted. i accidentally put the 06-07 hanger on first and my can was touching the tail tidy. when i looked at the hanger for the 04-05 model i saw that the hanger had slightly longer brackets coming down from it. this then gave my can the little bit of room between it and the tail tidy. apart from that everything went straight on, it also said on the box it was for 04-05 model and 06-07 model. however ive read on here that there is a difference with the location of the pulleys for the valve, mine were attached to the original so i just uncoupled them and cable tied them up out of the way. maybe you should post a thread on the aftermarket pages to double check.

cheers ron
