20W50 instead of 10W40 for 929?

Just wondering what the effects of using a heavier 20W50 instead of the (recommended) standard 20W40 would be on the 929?

I've covered about 16,000 miles on mine.

Probably no measurable difference but oil weight is dependant on the ambient temperatures where you ride.
I run 15W50 in all my vehicles.
