94 blade to newer blade look...

hi guys,

i have a 94 at the moment with original fairings.

i want to switch the whole fairing set to something newer. possibly 98 and up

would anyone know how compatible certain years are for fairings? would it be a bigger difference gap as year gap expands?

around '98 to '00 should be ok for me. im just wondering if it would be a hard to do or possible at least.
thanks

I wouldn't expect to have big problems fitting just about any modern sportsbike fairing to any other bike as they're all fairly similar in size and ergonomics now.
You'd have to modify or make all the fairing mounts or course and would probably need to run the lights that fit the fairing.

Not exactly. I'm saying you can make it look like anything you want - as long as you have the talent to make it fit :-)
Some fairings have holes around the stator housing and such that may or may not be needed on a different bike. Mirror's would need a support bracket as well. You'd probably have to modify the rear subframe to accept the tail fairing and you'd have to splice the lights into the harness.
