Lowering 954rr questions

I sat on a new GSXR 600 that was lowerd today. It was really low, and i dont really care about the look or anything nearly as much as the angle.

I noticed that i didnt slide up on the tank when i was sitting on it. I could sit where ever on the seat and stay there.

So my question is can i lower my bike 2 " in the rear with out sacrificing any handling?

Any suggestions.

Thanks fellas

No.
Even if you leave the geometry of the bike stock and just lower the seat the handling is going to suffer.
You simply need to try it and see if you can live with it.
Try riding without the seat and see how that feels. Fold a towel or something to sit on so you don't damage yourself too much :-)

Re: Lowering 954rr questions

well just raising the front of the seat would make all the difference i believe then. Im just tired of the forward slanting seat.

I ride (and race) hard up against the tank anyway.

Considering the extensions and the lowering I'm guessing you don't corner very quickly then.
