929 brake lines

okay well i was digging through some drawers in my garage and i found some brake lines ive accumulated over the past couple years from friends. i do have a couple of issues though.

1. no banjo bolts
can i use the factory 01 929 banjo bolts and washers? if not what size do i need?

2. i only have 2 matching lines i can use up front.
can i eliminate the "Y" fitting and run the two lines directly upto the master cylinder?

I really don't understand what it is you're asking.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with old lines - new braided lines are cheap.
I don't know what you mean by using the 929 bolts. What are you using them for exactly? Don't re-use the washers though - get new ones.
Yes, you can run the lines directly to the master cylinder if you prefer. Racebikes are required to do it this way. You'll need a double banjo bolt of course.

Re: 929 brake lines

yeah i already have these lines though so these are even cheaper (the rear is brand new actually).

i seem to be running into an issue of finding the double banjo bolt in town from reading i think ive come up with the correct size (10x1.25). can anyone confirm this?

When I replaced the bolts on my '98 GSXR with aluminium ones I discovered the calipers and master cylinder were different pitches so I aways check first.
Measure the pitch of the bolts already in there.

And for future reference, what pitch did you end up ordering?
