04-05 & 06-07 1000 front Brake Caliper the same?

I was wondering if the 04/05 and the 06/07 front brake calipers are the same on the 1000RR? Are the mounting bolt holes the same? Will the 04/05 calipers fit on the 06/07 forks?

I'm in the planning phase of a project and need this information.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I believe the calipers are the same.
The late model has bigger discs so it has spacers and longer mounting bolts.

Thanks for replying.

The little light bulb just popped up over my head and the light came on (low watt bulb). I checked Service Honda online parts search and it looks like the calipers have the same part number according to Sevice Honda.

I'm putting the 1000 front brakes/suspension on my 929. I'm doing all the research and ordering at this moment. Hopefully project: Refresh the 929 will work out well.
