08 Blade...Coolant coming out of over flow?

The bike was at 220 degress driving to work normal, shut it off and a small puddel of coolant came out of overflow after the bike was shut off. Now this happened a couple thousand miles ago but I called dealer and they say it happened becasue it was new and just had to much in it. It's been 2000 miles and it happened again, does anyone know if this is just normal or should I be alarmed and take it in. The bike is almost exp on warranty.

I would take it in and have them check it out. At the least, they should flush the whole system for you and do a pressure test on it. Good luck.

Re: 08 Blade...Coolant coming out of over flow?

take off the coolant tank cap, start the engine and watch the coolant in the tank to see if it bubbles. if it does, then u have a blown head gasket, if it doesnt............. , maybe its due to the summer temp. everything seems to run a little warmer.
