954rr shifting

Hello all....
Today i was trying to change my 2002 cbr 954rr to moto gp style shifting (reversed), but i couldnt figure out how..
The onlyh way i found to do that i would need a longer rod, and would still have to bend it..
Have anyone done that before?
Any easier way?

Thanks

I know of a few guys using a shift lever directly off the shaft.

Seems to work fine. I just don't see much point.
