Fuel Pump or....

My B/F was crusing along on his 2001 CBR929RR and all of the sudden the bike stalled.... When he pulled over and tried to start it he did not hear the fuel pump prime. He is thinking it is the pump. I think it is something else. The bike has been apart recently so maybe it is something else.
Any ideas??

Did he lose the instruments when it stalled?
Are there any error codes flashing on the dash?

Re: Fuel Pump or....

There is a main ground from the pump on the left hand side. It vibrates and can shake lose, it wont prime without it being connected firmly. this happened a few months ago to me as well.
