929/954 front Brake calipers

Are they the same and interchangable? how can I get a sticky caliper piston to move freely?? Anyone have info on these questions. Thanks

They are interchangeable. However, I thought I read somewhere in the "what's new for 2003" articles that Honda changed the diameters of the pistons for better braking feel. If you are going to change one, change both of them to keep a matched set.

thanks so much. the 954 calipers are $100 usd cheaper than the 929 for a set and someplaces for one.

They are interchangeable (along with some others including the F4i I think) but they aren't identical as already stated.
It would depend on why the piston is stuck, but if it's not actually damaged it should be repairable. You'd need to disassemble the caliper and blow the pistons out with air if you can't just push them out with hydraulic pressure.
Replace the seals and polish the pistons and lube everything with brake fluid during reassembly.
