929 full exhaust removal

Ok before you call me crazy for taking my yosh system off, it feels like im losing low end power over the stock set-up with the valve and all. bike doesn't come alive untill +7500rpm's, good on track days but for the streets. i like the power in the low end.
So on to the Question when I installed the yosh I left the servo in and removed the cables then removed the air box door. trying to put all back in can't remember what position the exhaust valve is in when bike is off. Help

Your not crazy, you are losing low end, I did he same thing with the exact same bike, put full race titanium Micron exhaust and pc on and had the same problem, so long story short kept stock exhaust on my 954 w/ slip on only. Sorry can't help with exhaust valve position.

Same here. Full exhaust on first round (erion) now back to slip on but it's so frickin heavy. A trade off for sure.

Re: 929 full exhaust removal

I would think that would defeat the performance side of it. Mine was ridable around town and if I cannot get the top end producing some more horse I may just put the full back on.

Re: 929 full exhaust removal

I don't know. I own a machine shop so it would be no problem at all. But I have come to the conclusion if I want the horse up top, I need to it to breath. No asthmatics in this stable

Thanks that helps. Hows the low end power?

Thinking about picking up a valve off ebay and fab a full system around it. but for now I'll just put my slip-on back and re-map. thanks to all again.
