Where would you mount frame sliders on 1998 900RR Blade

Hi all, this is my first post, so forgive the virgin entry. I have a 1998 900 blade. I was wondering about mounting frame sliders, but wasn't sure where to fit, not terribly keen on cutting holes and if I do want to make sure that if I mount to engine mounts etc and it topples over in the wind (I live in Wellington NZ and its not uncommon to have winds in excess of 130Ks -60-70 mile an hour for you UK guys). I dont want it breaking mounts etc. Anyone had any experience with this.
PS here is the baby - now has viper bolt on exhaust, led indicators and tidy up around the tail.

Nice bike! (But then I would say that.... )

For most frame sliders for our bikes we need to cut holes in the fairing...

...but you can get some which do not require holes. They come fitted on a bracket which allows the crash bung to poke through the fairing cut-out.
