The cop's are not that bad just watch out for them on the dragon. Make a test run first.

The cbr compare to the gsxr. Both my bike are mods out pretty good. But the stock brake system on the cbr is hand down, better! Both have their strong points. But light weight, short wheel base of the cbr make it handle well in the tight parts of the tracks. The gsxr being longer and a engine that will flat out scream fly on the high speed sweeper and straights. One thing I don't like about the cbr it is alot harder to work on!!!! Thanks for the reply. I will post trackday pics soon.

Its a great road, but its popularity is a hard beast to mess with. The cops generally are only there weekends, but they can and do show up during the week, and they really are only bad if you do something stupid or wreck. Take it easy your first few times through the place, every corner is blind and they are not all the same. And do your best to not cut corners or go over the double yellow, if anything, just follow what you would do on a track and keep as centered in the lane as possible.

I like the place better in the summer, go do something else during the day, there are plenty of other roads just as good as 129 in the area, and head to the gap after 5 when the cops generally are gone by, be out before dark, its downright scary on that road after dark.

Anyway here are some pices from my last visit there, i got to try killboys fidty and his trike, a buddy of mine is a buddy of his...

Thanks for the heads up, I will really think hard before doing anything dumb anyway. I have seen pleanty of dumb [email protected] vids of riders doing really stupid crap.

Hopefully still going..the weather looks really bad right now?

I miss that place ..... my buddy moved down there a couple years ago and the bastard gets to ride it when ever he wants!!

When we all went there for his wedding we had a blast on the dragons tail but even more fun on the Cherohola Skyway!!!!

Nice pics and glad you didnt add to the tree of shame!
