Bar End Mirrors ... Who Has Em??

I am thinking about getting a set of bar end mirrors for my blade but wanted an opinion on their functionablity. Do they work just as good as the stock mirrors? Most of the time I am doing the passing but the mirrors come in handy sometimes. They are not very expensive and they look nice when installed.

If there is good feedback I am getting a set and will throw up pics ASAP!

I have the smaller CRG's. I can see the world behind mind me and very easy to adjust. Not my favorite look on the bike but they work so well.

Re: Bar End Mirrors ... Who Has Em??

I had a CRG Hindsight mirror on a 919 a few years ago (see attached pic). They were fantastic! That convex lense really gives you a great view behind you. Yes, everything is smaller but it's better than looking at your elbows. CRG makes some great stuff and the quality is top notch.

CRG just came out with a new mirror last week called the Arrow:
CRG - Constructors Racing Group

IMO, this is a better looking mirror for sport bikes than the round Hindsight or Lane Splitter. And being able to adjust its position will make the form and function even better.

I'm going to get some block off plates for the stock mirror holes (suggestions appreciated!) and get one of these Arrow mirrors to replace the stock mirror. I think it will make the front end cleaner, and that one mirror will work better than the two stock mirrors.

BTW, I contacted CRG and their suppliers don't have the Arrow yet. You have to buy it from CRG direct for now. And you need to buy the bar-end adapters separately.

Once I get some block off plates and the Arrow mirror with adapter, I will remove the stock mirrors, install the block of plates, install the CRG stuff, and post some pics.

Agreed...I used thme on my old Katana...I dont think I would like them on my 954 tho...but really good mirrors. But those just posted by kenb may work because you can adjust the height.

Re: Bar End Mirrors ... Who Has Em??

ouchhhhh.......When I was out riding this weekend I was looking to see what bar mirrors would feel like....While I hate looking at my elbows and find it hard to get the perfect mirror position with the stock ones...I think that the bar ends might be really hard to get used to. I would have to look almost straight down to see behind me. If anyone has any thoughts please share!

They do take time to get used to...but you do over time. The newer ones look more adustable and I realy only use them to see if my buddies are behind me or if the Po Po are coming . So, overall I am looking forward more than in my mirrors anyway.
