MIL FI Light on a 2004 CBR1000RR

Over the weekend my kids banged into my bike.
I took out off the oil fill plug to make sure it was seated properly.
This morning I had a low battery and had to pop-start the bike.
When I did the Red MIL light stayed on and the FI code was was flashing slowly on the display.
I don't know if either of these events would cause this or if it is just a coincidence.
What should I be checking for?

It could be a coincidence, if the F1 light flashes you need to count them and the frequency, ie 1 long and 3 short this is an error code, that tells you what is wrong. As my bike is different to yours maybe the codes are different. You would need to find the fault codes for your bike.
As an example 21 (2 long and 1 short) flashes on mine means a faulty o2 sensor

OK, so it looks like I need to replace the HESD linear solenoid (MIL code 51).
Does anyone out here have the pages from the manula on how to do that?
