Re: 09 suspension question

Thats a good question!!! I have an 09 1000 and the suspension is set up stock right now and i feel like its a little hard, i weigh 175lbs and was wondering if i should soften it up as well, I know BladeRacer knows his ****, hopefully he'll drop some knowledge on us

Re: 09 suspension question

my basic concern was if i had to change my springs or not. at 225 lbs i figured i was borderline. while doing some research i found this video on a stock suspension evaluation that answered my questions. i hope this helps some others.

Go to the following link. Then click on custom fork and spring calculation at the top. Once you enter your weight the next page will tell you what they recommend for your bike and the stock settings for your bike.
