Ok I'll play, don't have it anymore but I dug up some old pics and happened to find some of the ol' 929. Stock in pic but had full Micron Ti race exhaust and pc.

That is a nice exhaust setup!

This is a pic from last summer. Seems like years since I have been able to ride.

Re: Post your 00-01 929rr Pictures lets see what you got!!!

my venerable commuter. It regularly does 12k miles annually in all conditions so it's looking well used. I wanted slight cosmetic mods without making it too obscene. A lot of the mods have been done purely because they were cheaper than buying OEM.

Mods

1) Micron Race Exhaust (I've now swapped it over for a Ti Remus Revolution) with PCIII. Micron started to blow near the flange where the rubber gasket had failed due to vibrating.
2) 4300K H7 Slimline HID
3) LED indis all around - Mirrors have been upgraded to ones with LED indicators - ebay from Taiwan
4) Galfer Wavy front discs (OEM ones warped after extensive winter abuse)
5) Suspension reworked - Linear front springs and refurbished rear - Done at HM Racing in Orpington
6) HEL Front Braided lines
7) R&G Crash bungs - Originally had some Motrax DHMs on them until a neighbour reversed into my bike and knocked the spool off when the bike landed on her car!
8) Rear seat cowl and hugger
9) Fake Pazzo levers - wanted to get more feel from the clutch lever because I couldn't find a right span setting to make it easy for me when I'm commuting in London
10) Baglux tank cover - because there's a nasty dent in the tank from when the bike fell off the stand in the wind.
11) MotoGrafix front numberboard. There were so many stone chips after all these years of daily use.

See, I wish we got some of the US paintjobs over here in the UK. You guys get some pretty nice, understated schemes which look like the 600-F4i. The only problem here is that a decent respray will cost something like 800+.

That's funny, There was a red, white and blue 929rr "import" I was looking at that I loved. This one was almost 1/2 the price so I jumped on it. Of course the color combo that caught my attention years ago was the black and yellow.

I just can't wait until spring so I can drive the tires off it.

That is so funny, because for years I used to say the same thing about the euro paint schemes, I wish we had some of those in the states.

You're on a roll this morning huh??But since you asked, no, cus the squid gsxr eats 07 repsol's that come stock with about 10 less HP and weigh about 40 more pounds, the gsxr could be pink brother, and I wouldn't care as long as it spanked that pretty fat slob you ride.
