Red Light?

I have an 04 CBR1000rr and am having a problem with the red light coming on when i wheelie. I dont ride long wheelies probably never over 1/4 mile. Just started recently and as soon as i power it up the light comes on and starts to sputter. sometimes after i come down from the wheelie it goes away immediately and sometimes the bike will die and when i restart it the light is gone. and advice would be much appreciated,

Can't help you with the red light issue but you may want to take your email out of your info on the side, spam crawlers will be having a ball with it!

No prob, took me a while too.

Click on your own name, go to your User CP, (Control Panel) then hit Edit Details and partway down you'll see Additional Information. The line for your bike details has your email in it. Take that out, proudly type in your bike and hit Save Changes at the bottom.

Re: Red Light?

It is probably not getting any oil to the topend when you do your wheelies.. Which can be quite damaging..

Re: Red Light?

really, so an 04 1000rr can't wheelie without oil starving the top end? sounds, well, suspect.

Perhaps a loose connector under the tank?
