94 CBR900RR Front brake question

Hey all, I am new to the site as well as this bike. I have recently upgraded from a 77 CB750 supersport to a 94 CBR900rr. Although a bit of a culture shock I am very pleased with my acquisition. However on to my question.

The front brakes when applied lightly have this singing tone emminating from them and I am not sure if this is due to me babying them or if it is something I need to look into further.

thanks in advance for your imput.

Re: 94 CBR900RR Front brake question

It's normal for the front brakes to buzz when applied.

You can check pad wear to see if they need replacing.

Lovely sound, that hiss when braking, I've not had another bike that does it as nicely. Nothing wrong, just the song of the 'blade.
