first bike small problem

so i just bought my first street bike yesterday for a good price. i got a 01 929rr. So when i took it to get inspected he said the fork seal was bad. I seemd to have fluid on the right fork but nothing major. But that is way to expensive for me to pay to get fixed. And how can he be certin that is whats wrong when all he did was look at the fork. it has set an entire year before i fired it up for the first time.

Re: first bike small problem

i dont see why there would be as long there were even. i think i am gonna do the quick fix with film and try to refill them evenly until i get the set of new seals in. i heard it works great. just may have set too long and dried that up and all it needs is a good vasoline seal. its hard to tell.
