2001 929RR Helppp.. MIL 7, 34. Runs good till warm then bogs and bucks.

So like the title says i have a 2001 929RR i just replaced the second gear shift fork and gears everything was going well until i got the bike to warm up the thing starts bucking like a horse and shutting off on me. If i let it sit for a minute or two to cool down itll start right back up and run like a gem until it gets hot again. Its starting to shut off at around 170 degrees and higher. i disconnected the ECT sensor thinking maybe the connector was loose but its does the same thing. Anybody have any ideas?

I don't have a clue myself.

Re: 2001 929RR Helppp.. MIL 7, 34. Runs good till warm then bogs and bucks.

It ended up being the connector at the ignition pulse generator.
The prongs inside the connector were loose and for whatever reason only decided to loose contact when it got hot. So i took them out bent them so they make a better contact and now my 2 month fiasco with this bike is over
thanks for all your help

Question for you bladeracer. I feel like the front end on this bike is a little sloppy, kinda thinking its the spongy suspension in the front. Is there anything i can do to make it stiffer? Maybe put different fork oil in there or something? the forks on there now aren't leaking or anything, unless they've leaked entirely and have nothing in there at all.
