929 Brake specifications.

Hi guys, I'm trying to fill out a form for vehicle registration/licensing reasons here in New Zealand...

They are asking for the manufacturers acceptable limits on thickness of the pads and rotors... Does anyone have this information?

Thanks.

The front discs will have "Min. Th. 3.5mm" stamped on them if they're OEM. The rear is thicker from memory. These specs though are likely to be different depending on the disc manufacturer.
I'm not aware of a specified minimum thickness for the pads as the pads have their own wear indicator grooves in them. Do you need to provide proof of the manufacturer's spec? If not, just put 1mm as I doubt many pad manufacturer's wear indicators would go below that.

Re: 929 Brake specifications.

Yeah the rotors are OEM and have the specs stamped so that's all good. Its the pads I'm not too sure about... I thought it might say something in the Honda manual about the limits of stock brakes?

It does. Just like every other manual it says to replace them when they reach the wear indicators.
