Battery issue

Hey guys, I'll be headed off to college soon and taking my 929 with me. I'm a little concerned with one problem tho... If I don't have my bike on the battery tender for about a month, if its cold out and she's been sitting for a while (for example...at work) and I come out and crank her over, she'll just not have enough power to start up. It just SLOWLY drains over time and I won't be able to hook it up the the tender at school... My old fzr did the same thing so is this common? or is it about time for a new bat?

Have you checked that the charging system is working?

Re: Battery issue

Voltage across the battery at 5,000 rpm should be 15.5 V
