stylez/need help

I have a 1999 cbr 900rr with a 6'inch over swing arm would it be safe to stay with a 520 conversion sprocket kit and chain because i still have factory gearing and im stuck please help me 900rr lovers

Why would it not be safe if it's been safe up til now?

why do people do a smaller chain conversion???

Only real reason is to reduce unsprung and rotational mass.
Switching from OEM 530 chain and sprockets to race-quality lightweight 520 saves about 1kg off the 3kg mass. All of it rotational and most of it unsprung weight.
