2002 CBR 954RR

Hello,

My 954's brake light works, when I use the hand lever, but not when I use the foot brake can anyone help with this issue. The bike won't pass inspection.

1. Does it have a rear brake light switch?
2. If no, get one.
3. If yes, it needs to be adjusted to be engaged earlier.

I think it does it has been working for the past 4 years and all of a sudden when I take it through inspection it is out. I will check it out and probably order another one. Is there anyway of testing it so I dont buy one when it just needs adjusting

There is a way to test it.

Simply pull on the spring that connects your lever to the switch.
