iterensting oil issue

well i rode into work today on my 2003 cbr954rr.
and when i pulled into the parking lot when i would get to about 20mph? (guess) it would start clicking. at first i thought it was the exaughst so i had a co worker watch and see if he came up with anything ( has a RC51) so we looked and i noticed there was no oil in the window. Was lik SH!t went and hurried and bought 2 quarts of oil (10w40) and the sucker still wouldnt show any oil. buddies on his lunch now buying me another quart.
hopefully i didnt cause any damage to the bike.
just interesting....
should check it more often lol.

You are checking it with the bike held vertical?

Good lord. I assume you are checking with the bike upright and engine off? I know dumb question but this is the internet. Deffinantly keep a very close eye on the level for a while.

Re: iterensting oil issue

Your grammar is astoundingly horrid. How fast were you typing that the word "interesting" in your title came out like you threw-up a dictionary?

But anyway, would no oil cause that rattling issue? Unless having no oil for an extended period of time caused something to fail?

Re: iterensting oil issue

yea sadly i cannot find a way to edit the title lol.
And i completly agree my spelling is horride.

well im guessing i didnt have oil for a bit. cause when i went to fill it up after i noticed it was low it ate 3 quarts. I believe it is just the cam belt being loose from what i have read. but it was low on oil. its having a check up next thursday so its gonna be sitting until then. just hoping it isnt anything that i seriously F'ed up.
