new 929 owner, bugs with bike

ok so i have some questions about my bike. first is the FI light when i turn the bike in the on position i dont get no red light that pops on like i have red that should happen. so when the bike is running the black outlined FI light stays on. Here is a crap pic of what im talking about.

next i have a rattle in the bike kinda like a CCT. it happens under acceleration around 3200-4500 rpms and under deceleration 5500-4000 rpms. My F4i did the same thing and just didnt know if the 954s have the same problem. If not does anyone have an idea what the noise can be? im thinking about putting my GoPro on my bike to see if it can pick up the noise so people hear what im hearing.

Re: new 929 owner, bugs with bike

Does the FI light stays on when you turn on the engine?

If it stays on when the engine is running then according to haynes manual:
Blown warning light bulb.
Open or short circuit in warning.
Faulty ECM.

If engine does not start then according to haynes:
Blown fuse (main, engine stop, PGM-FI or fuel pump).
Faulty power supply to ECM.
Faulty engine stop relay or wiring.
Faulty engine stop switch/open circuit on switch earth (ground) wire.
Faulty ignition switch.
Faulty lean angle sensor or wiring.
Faulty ECM.

Good luck!

The bike use to have a PC but now it doesn't. Could that be a problem?
