rr8 blade with rr10 hrc panels

Hi folks this is my first post.

I've put down a deposit on a 2008 bike with panels from a 2010 hrc.

I've check the history and it is clear, the bike has service history, has low miles and seems ok but I'm a little bit suspicious as to why someone has changed all the panels to make it a 2010 bike.

So what do you think?

I think occassionally people to do weird stuff.. I'd definitely check the frame for any signs of paint chips, dents, dings, scrapes. People can wreck a bike and fix it on their own without reporting it, hence a clean title.
If the frame and hard to replace parts look legit, looks like you're getting a bike with all updated plastics

Are they OEM plastics or a Chinese kit?

Re: rr8 blade with rr10 hrc panels

Just found out that the dealership (hunts) did it. They had race prepped a bike for Michael Dunlop. They had the hrc panels left over so put them on the bike I'm buying.

So all good I think.
