New lowering links. I love the new ride.

I've been wanting to lower my bike since I can barely touch tippy toed. I've been riding cruisers for way too long & am just used to sitting flat footed at a light. I have found several vendors for the links, but for the adjustable kickstands they are all very expensive. I was cruising E-Bay & say an adjustable stand for 08-11 bikes cheap. I sent them a message on their FaceBook page asking about the 04-07 models. They said they didn't make one. A few messages back & forth & we agreed to use my bike for the prototype work since they were local to me. I brought it over a few weeks back. Today I brought it in & they installed everything & took pics for their website.
Here is adjustable lowering links..notice the bearings.

These guys are working hard. There was an Aprilla inside, so they did mine in the parking lot.

Front fork sliders

Finished product. 2.5 in in the back. I'll lower the front this weekend.

Again, a super thanks to Tom & his guys.

2.5 in the rear. I'll do the front 1-1.5 this weekend.

Thanks for the compliments. My next visiual mod will be removing the factory decals & replacing them with flat black decals.

Angle that the front wheel was set at originally for best grip given the height of the rear. If its not set properly you can lose a lot of grip and the consequences will be dire.
