Just curious, but can a slipper clutch be fitted to the rc51? What mods would be necessary

Thanks Deez the RC lives there all summer with street duty in the fall and spring (for now) The RR is my 'touring' bike. It might loose to suspension though since I can manually slip the clutch in the case of a over downshift :crap:deez said:I think he is referring to the thread author's place of residence
The JT is an excellent, cost effective part. Make sure your bike is going to spend some time at the track or other components make more sense to invest in
Yes but I think the 600RR is not on the list.BDA116 said:Is he offering other models as well? I've been eyeing the $800 Yoyodyne, but this may be worth a looksee.
Looks awfully expensive... About $850 before shipping from overseas. Can't personally comment on quality or functionality, but I would remember that you will eventually need spares for it as well...Suburbanrancher said:Does anyone have any first-hand feedback on the Sigma slipper clutch for the RC51?

Fair enough... But it's only been a week and the high today was 30! A couple more weeks and I should be good! Or maybe I should just pack her up and head south...sheepofblue said:well if you would ride yours and give a review
FWIW, SIGMA manufactures the units that many folks resell, including Yoyodyne.Does anyone have any first-hand feedback on the Sigma slipper clutch for the RC51?
