Even if money was not a problem I would still go with the hindle

IF and I stress IF I had extra cash to spend....

My choices would be something like this, starting from my 1st then downward

Sato (I do believe I saw the 954 system at the LB moto show)
Micron (serpent)

Since I'm a broke phuck, I bought a Hindle and love every minute of it.....

Definitely check out the Arata system before you get anything. I have one and love it. It sounds way better than those other two systems in my opinion. Also, the Arata seems to have a much better build quality than the others. But, between the 2 you are talking about, I would go with the Micron just because I think that they sound better and I've had Micron before and really liked it.

Re: full systems: akra evo or micron serpents ?

Between the two choices you have mentioned(Akra or Micron), I would go with the Micron. The Akra is fairly quiet from the systems I have heard on many liter class bikes. The Micron has a deep and rich sound that in my opinion is only bettered by the Arata and Hindle. From dyno sheets I have seen the Akra actually drops a bit in the low to mid range as compared to the Micron so if you do mainly street riding I'd pick the Micron. The other factor to me would be price to performance, the Micron is cheaper then the Akra and gives very good power. IMHO you can't beat the price to performance you get with the Hindle though, it worked for me. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

The K&N will make less power.

Which system you think looks and sounds better? Choose that one.

The smoothest curve is probably the Hindle. My favorite system is the Arata.

If you use the search, you should get a million hits on the topic for further info.

full systems: akra evo or micron serpents ?

Which would sound better?
which would make better power? (no, i'm not asking which will make more power).

i think i'm looking for smoother power, better power under the curve, I don't care if it doesn't make the highest peak.

so, micron serpent full, with a micron can

or akra evo full system with akra can.

and of course i'd add a pcIIIusb to the combo, with a k&n, and some other little ****.

anyone have sound clips of them on 954's, or 929's?
