Now, once again, let's look at golf. Annika has played on the PGA. (Let's leave the Hawiian Teeny Bopper out of this for now.) Should she be allowed to try to beat the guys?? If she wants, yes, but on another stage, not the PGA?? When they let men into the LPGA tour to compete, then she should be allowed to play with the boys. In racing, etc, there is no choice, in golf, basketball, etc, there are professional ladies leagues.

The Toyta Atlantic series runs on road courses - more or less the minor league to CART - and she more than held her own in that series. She worked her way up and earned her ride, and she will continue to do so.

Boy George and his CART-busting league is several pegs beneath the glory days, but the 500 is still a million dollar+ purse, and any team that Bobby Rahal puts together is top-rate.

"Oh my", she's NOT at the top level! F1 is the top level of motorsports. They wouldn't even let her change a tire in that league. When the IndyCars split into two leagues, it was over anyway. Now you have Mike Smith from backwoods, WV racing against Joe Johnson from middleofnowhere, Iowa. I wish it was the days of real drivers like Emerson Fittipaldi, Rick Mears, Andrettis, Unsers, Paul Tracy, Nigel Mansell, Jacque Villeneuve again. She is CERTAINLY @ the top of one of the US leagues that presently exists, but the leghumpers were definitely out the past 3 weeks. 4th place wasn't too bad considering there was only 16 cars running when the race ended and ONLY 9 were on the lead lap. She can even take credit for knocking a few of those cars outta the race.
