Those tires are awesome! Like a little heavy metal jacket for them

You can do a burn-out and dig an ice fishing hole at the same time.

Not just you. If you type 'Ice Racing' and 'Alberta' in UT, you'll find many happy sliding souls.
I can't wait to try it, snow, ice whatever. There's two lakes nearby that are used for sport racing in winter and there's ice racing tracks next door in Quebec. I barley work in the winter so I need to do something to keep my brains from going mushy...

Snow is good - most women gain weight in the winter - I have no snowblower and a huge property - I lose weight and gain muscle - snow is good. Eat, drink and lose it all at the next snowfall.

I lost 2 weeks to snow in November, but riding on the cold, slippery roads isn't too much fun. Still better than being stuck in a car though. Most of the guys I ride with stop towards the end of October, and may come out of hibernation around March.

Re: damn snow

i have taken my 900 out while it was a blizzard.. haha it was a lot of fun actually!

Got the strangest looks.

Ice racing is insane! I would definitely give it a try.. Hmm Maybe buy a bike from a guy I know haha.. It was custom built for ice racing, its a dirtbike.. but with the rake of a sport bike

Spina, I know exactly what that feels like.
Seen a guy out on his bike yesterday, got me feeling a little down haha.
Just dont want to risk it with all the gravel on the road

Mind you I drink an amazing amount of fluid during the day!
Good thinking, passing out would be bad technique. I guess you have a built in weight control system. Silver lining.

When we get those boiler days, I'm quite useless. The humidex says 100% and there's not a drop of rain (live on a lake)
This will be my first year riding so I hope to be able to create my own breeze when I can't take it anymore. Toasty head but my new gear has a zip off section to keep the main protection, the rest becomes mesh. May still keep full gear on and test the zip-open vents. Just having air that moves will be a nice thing. 40+ gives a whole new meaning to helmet head. Won't be pretty
Fair trade off compared to a city bus.

Poisonous critters? pfft it's too hot, they couldn't be stuffed with a hot meal to bite it!
Give me columbian druglords over big spiders and platys.
Don't things overheat when it's that hot? We can get up to about 46c here but it only lasts a day or so then back to high 20's.
Don't you become soup in your gear or do you just get used to it?

How bout converting a dirt bike? Hmm? Come for a visit to the land of ice and snow!

And by the way, I'm a female so you should see how much fun the snow-men get up to!
C'mon bring your mates. Don't wanna try ice racing alone. No, eh?
Well I tried.
