Had done that & seen no circulation. Shouldnt be air because was fine since i changed fluid last year. Thanks, will try the thermo.

Before you start replacing parts take off your rad cap, run the bike and see if there is any air in your system by bringing it to boil up, switch it off, replace the cap and see how the system operates. If it is still getting too hot then start going through the system for other issues

When I squeeze hose I feel no pressure. Nothing leaking from pump. Nothing circulating. Guess I will order a thermo? Anyone know other test I could do to determine which is faulty? Thanks

How do I check water pump. I dont think it is circulating. I hop[e to have time after work to check it out. Thanks

Is the coolent circulating ie is the water pump working and is the thermostate opening.

I would flush it out, shouldnt be boiling till 265 or so.

929 boiling coolant at 227F?

My fan is working but only keeps it at 227-228 at a red light or driving slow. If I turn it off at that temp it is boiling in reservoir? No signs of head gasket problems such as cloudy oil or oily coolent yet. Maybe just needs flush. Run honda coolent, never had a problem before. Thanks for your time.

I just took notice of fan coming on at 225, turned it off & was already boiling in reservoir at 225 deg? Shouldnt my fan kick in at 217? & would it be boiling that much at 224-225? Again, thanks for your time, new to sportbikes.
