Thanks. I have to keep giving permission to guys to allow their wives to see my pic so that they can be 'influenced' that my style is 'the norm'!!

There is a hazard to this bike's placement though. I have to squeeze my butt cheeks so tight to get through the door - but that's really a topic for another forum!

i dont think so. I adjusted that first. its grabbing and letting go consistently with the clutch at about halfway. It was a really frustrating issue, i hope it doesnt return..

oldbastard Could it be that the clutch wasn't fully disengaging? Not that I want to diss your creativity...😇

i had some odd shifting show up recently at 20,000miles (02 954) changed oil first, still had that weird issue of simply refusing to shift up or down, usually at stop light (3rd to first, stuck in 3rd) or at 70mph going into 5th or 6th gear. I drew up and laser cut an extension pc for the shifter to shorten throw. golden now. hope im not just covering an issue!

dogged the piss out of her all weekend, she loved it.

changed the 18-year old tired and frayed radiator for a brand new (not OE) one. It almost fitted. Just a bit of adjustment here and there required. Also tested the thermostat (the job was triggered by noticing that it needed more than 40mph to stay at 82degree C. And the fan couldnt haul it down from 104C to 102 where the fan cuts out normally). So, changed rad. And found that the current thermostat didn't open quite so wide as a previous one. So that got swapped too. Bring on the heatwave!!

The 929 is nicer to ride; more nimble. But I am far more confident in hoofing it up on the 2011, which is really my daily ride.

Super light clutch action on the 929; not sure if it's just mine or the bikes in general.

A bit of double-dipping for me. Gotta keep these things running. It's a real chore!

Beautiful day here today, put about 80 miles on mine this morning, if I’d had more time I would have gone further, really got into the groove on the way home and felt like I wanted to keep going.

Did some over obsessing detailing today, picked up the correct “Ross White” touch up paint and just touched up a few minor marks.

I also wasn’t happy about the incorrect bolts holding the silencer on, and nuts and bolts used for the footrests rather than pins.

So some OEM loveliness arrived this morning

Firstly changed over the exhaust mounting bolts

Before nice but not correct.

After, correct

Then the footrests

Before, very neat, but not factory correct

After, now as it left the factory.

Order has been restored!

msf0002 More parts arriving, more paint stripping. Can’t wait to get some serious work done this weekend. Hopefully getting my frame, swingarm and subframe back from
